Marie-Louise Aucher (1908-1994), was a French musician and singer. Since 1960 the correspondence between the vibrations of sounds and the human body had been analyzed, thus establishing a new type of psychophonie: an innovative approach in teaching the emission of the voice, linked to the aspect of singing; the method was recognized by the Académie des Sciences of Paris.

Psycophonie is a human training method that uses VOICE as a working tool, through sounds, songs and words.

OUR VOICE AS A PRIVILEGED MEANS OF EVOLUTION AND KNOWLEDGE

The voice is understood as the most privileged expression of our original identity and when it is listened to, accepted and understood, it makes it possible to enter into deep contact with our inner world, express ourselves and communicate our truth.

VOICE AND BODY – A WHOLE TOOL FOR VIBRATION

The voice inhabits our body, is emitted and modulated thanks to it. Listening to the vibrations of the body allows us to recognize our feelings and to adhere to them.

The five senses enrich the perception of one’s feeling, describe its qualities and allow for a richer and more defined expression.

Rhythm, experienced through the body, stimulates vitality, dynamism, structures the action, organizes, articulates and defines.

Melody and poetry allow us to explore the emotional and affective dimension and enrich our meaning with meaning.

The solidity, the support and the flow of the breath allow us to perceive ourselves in our verticality, stability and unity and, starting from here, enter into a relationship with others.
