Only one percent know that astrology is a very vast subject—so vast that one can only enter it with a hesitant step.

The astrology I speak of has great depth.

There is a fundamental connection between your life and the universe, a harmonious rhythm. We are not separate or isolated, but joined together in an organic way. Life is a whole, an integrated whole.

What happens anywhere in the universe always affects man and vice versa. If we can understand this fact well, then we do not have to live caged in our ego and pride.

The ego does not exist, but the cosmos does.

Very powerful forces are at work, and your ego is absolutely insignificant. You are an integral part of this vast world.

Every child, every new life, chooses a specific moment to be conceived and to be born—the two are interdependent.

He will choose the appropriate constellations for what he wishes to be – according to his innate potentialities, the form taken by his previous lives as a whole, and the motivations of his consciousness.

At the moment of birth, the condition of the child’s mind is that of a photographic plate of great sensitivity.

When a child is conceived, the plate is exposed for the first time. When the child is born, the second exposure takes place. These two exposures are recorded in the child’s sensitive mind, as on a film.

The world, as it is at that moment, is imprinted on the child.

This fact will determine the child’s likes and dislikes throughout his life.

THE FIRST LAYER OF ASTROLOGY: THE EXTERNAL ASTROLOGY

The first part of astrology is the outermost layer, the non-essential one.

At this level everything depends on circumstances, everything is uncertain, unpredictable. The more we refer to external events, the greater the possibility of coincidences.

THE SECOND LAYER OF ASTROLOGY: THE MIDDLE ASTROLOGY

The second part is the middle layer, the semi-essential level.

Here there is a possibility of transformation, if the right choice is made.

THE THIRD LAYER OF ASTROLOGY: THE INTERNAL ASTROLOGY 

The third part is the core – the essence – which cannot be changed. Once you know it, the only possibility is to cooperate.

The authentic part is the third: it is the quintessence of everything. It belongs to the deepest core and is completely predetermined.

The more you move towards your center, the closer you get to the essential, the predetermined part.

With internal phenomena, things begin to appear scientific, as if they were based on a precise law. They become more and more categorical.

Between these two conditions – the peripheral and the essential – there is the intermediate level where there is ample room to create changes by exercising one’s freedom of choice.

Here a conscious person will make the right choice, and the right way is to go towards one’s center.

A person locked in the darkness of ignorance, however, will be carried by the current of his destiny, forced to accept everything that comes in his direction.

When you go to an astrologer, ask a meaningful question, for example: “Will I die unhappy or fulfilled?” This is something worth asking – it is related to essential astrology.

You usually ask the astrologer how long your life will be, as if just living is enough. But what do you live for? If you live, what can you become?

Astrology can become a useful tool in your hands only if you can separate the essential from the non-essential.
